CEO

Jim Scott

Jim began his career in 1982 by starting two businesses while in college at The University of Georgia. Bulldog Movers, a household goods moving company, which he sold to a management buyout and is still an active and profitable business today. Simultaneously, Jim started Alpha Products, his first plastic consumer products company, which were sold to Aladdin Industries in 1994. 

Jim served as CEO and Chairman of In Zone Holdings, Inc., a company that created and financed businesses within the consumer products segment, and managed them to maximum value. The company built and sold bubba brands inc. to Newell Rubbermaid, Big Steel Keg Inc. to Onward Manufacturing, and most recently, good2grow to Kainos Capital. 

Today, Jim is the CEO of In Zone Capital Jim is passionate about helping companies and entrepreneurs achieve their goals. He is actively involved at the University of Georgia Entrepreneurship Program (ENTR), where he mentors and coaches aspiring entrepreneurs. Through In Zone Capital, he is looking to take the same disciplines that have made Jim’s five previous companies successful and transfer them to other companies within our portfolio.

Chief Development Officer

Natalie Mehra

Natalie’s background is heavily focused on high-growth start-ups. She started her career at the world’s first influencer marketing platform, helping monetize the digital space. She later joined the social networking platform, Bumble and was part of the team to take the Company from 15MM-100MM users and was instrumental in international expansion. Natalie has consulted with many high-growth companies across CPG, technology, F&B, and banking. Today, she leads business development and investor relations for In Zone Capital. Natalie graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Advertising and completed an accreditation in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School.

Controller

Kristine Sapp

Kristine Sapp joined the In Zone team in 1997 as a Staff Accountant. Over the years, her positions included Treasury, Finance Manager, and eventually working her way up to Controller. Kristine has experience in a wide range of accounting functions including financial reporting, external auditing, M&A transactions as well as supporting C-Level executives. Kristine received her BBA in Accounting from Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University in 2013.
